Tipping

Throughout the day, our crew diligently works for you. At Ram Slam Charters, we offer your group a proficient and experienced mate to ensure a pleasant fishing experience. He will attend to all your angling requirements. A frequently asked question is whether it's appropriate to tip the mate. As a general rule, it's customary to offer a 20% gratuity.

Our goal is to provide you with some great memories. You will have views of Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station as well as Port Canaveral cruise ships and you may possibly see the Space X launch recovery ships bringing in recovered rocket boosters. If the timing is right you may get to experience a bonus rocket launch from the our boat with a sea keeper stabilizing unit for a comfortable and stable viewing platform. Our equipment is top of the line. We are using Garmin electronics, Crowder rods paired with top of the line Shimano Tiagras and Talica reels. Our new equipment can handle the biggest fish. Our customers have become used to top-of-the-line gear and service. Our deep drop rods are custom designed and paired with top of the line LP electric reels. We have backup electric Diawa beast master reels to help our young and and senior anglers haul in the big fish in shallower water. Your trip includes all fishing gear and tackle, fishing licenses, bait, ice, drinks, fish cleaning and bagging included. Catered food available upon request with an additional charge with 48 hours notice.

Comfort Charters requires a $200 deposit upon booking. GRATUITIES, a standard in the fishing industry, are not included in the price of services. Tips make up a significant portion of the captains’ incomes, so a 20% tip is appreciated!

Bookings are canceled before 48 hours, we offer a full refund. There are no refunds for bookings canceled less than 48 hours from departure. For those who wish to rebook within 48 hours of a scheduled departure, 50 percent of the deposit will be applied to a new booking.

If, due to weather or mechanical reasons and the bookings are canceled, a full refund or rebooking is offered. Rough seas forecasted over 3 to 5 feet or small craft advisories constitute weather cancellation for safety reasons. Captains also reserve the right to make the best decisions for your safety.
